• Strong WiFi Connection: Ensuring reliable internet access is crucial for the functionality of your hub:one. During the installation, you will need to access the WIFI using WIF Network Name (SSID) and password. 

• 3-Pin Plug Proximity: Please ensure there is a 3-pin plug, 230V (UK) and 2-pin plug, 230V (EU) near your inverter for convenient setup (within 5 meters of your inverter is recommended at this time).

• Photo Requirement: Please provide a photo of your inverter and its proximity to a 3 pin plug. This will assist us in verifying the installation requirements.

• Inverter Specifications: Your inverter should be a Solis hybrid, single-phase model or a Solax X1 hybrid G4. Solax X1 Hybrid G3 and G4 Models. Solis Hybrid grid tied single phase inverters such as the S5, S6 and RHI models

• Web App: Users will access the Hub:One dashboard using a browser, via a web app.". 

• Solar Battery Requirement: Battery needs to be a hybrid inverter DC coupled compatible battery. NOT A seperate AC coupled battery such as the Tesla Power wall or PowerVault system.

• Users are on Octopus Agile with an import and export tariff.

• For all install groups prior to July 1st, the users info will be hard coded and WebApp logins will be created for them - they will not go through the user onboarding journey in the WebApp.

• Hub:One occupies the port used by for their Solis app, so, once Swarm is installed, the Solis app will no longer be available to users.                                           
  

In advance of an installation:

As part of the installation process, you will require the following information to hand:

• Location name ( Name of your property location, i.e. Home Newcastle)

• Full name

• Email address

• Address & postcode

Initially we need both an import and export tariff as v1 prioritises savings in cost, on both the import and the export tariff. 

Not supported:

Any Octopus tariff without an export tariff/MAP - these will be tested next. Octopus non-agile tariff – these will also be tested.               

Any Octopus 'Intelligent' tariffs, as these are where Octopus controls the battery directly
