What tariffs does the Hub:One support?
Hub:One requires details of your tariff so we best configure your Automated Energy Manager (AEM) schedule. Most importantly, we need to understand the variances in your tariff, and when they occur, so we can forecast the best times to source grid energy, to meet your demand.
We currently support:
1. Most Octopus tariffs*
2. Any fixed rate (one tier) or two-tier tariff with peak and off-peak daily rates.
* Please note that we cannot support the Octopus Intelligent Flux tariff. This is because the tariff, like AEM, attempts to charge a connected home battery at certain times - thereby conflicting with our AEM software. The performance of your Hub:One will therefore be degraded if you have an Intelligent Flux tariff.
We inherently prefer the Octopus Agile tariff (due the regular variances in this tariff that mean we can maximise the outputs of our AEM software) however our product is still highly effective with fixed rate and two-tier tariffs.
