Is my roof suitable for solar installation?
Can I install solar panels on a flat roof?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on flat roofs using mounting systems specifically designed for this purpose. Flat roof installations may require racking systems or ballast mounts to tilt the panels at an optimal angle for sunlight exposure. We will assess the roof structure, ensure proper installation, and account for any additional weight or wind uplift considerations.
Can I install solar panels if my roof is not south-facing?
While south-facing roofs
are optimal for solar panel installations, panels can still be installed on roofs
with other orientations (e.g. east or west). East-facing roofs receive more
sunlight in the morning, while west-facing roofs receive more sunlight in the
afternoon. We will assess your roof's orientation and determine the best
positioning for the panels in order to maximise sunlight exposure and energy production.
