How do you compare with Octopus Flux?

Put simply:

Swarm's Hub:One will soon be integrated with Octopus Flux as it is a flexible price tarrif, similar to Octopus Agile that Swarm has already integrated with.

We do not directly compare with Octopus Flux, as it represents an innovative energy tariff, much like Octopus Agile, offered by Octopus Energy. Our approach is to complement these tariffs by integrating our product, Hub:One, to work seamlessly alongside them, enhancing the overall energy management and savings potential for our users.

Octopus Flux, like Agile, is designed to offer customers more flexibility and potentially lower costs by adjusting prices based on wholesale energy market changes. Our Hub:One system is engineered to maximise these benefits through intelligent energy management. By monitoring and analysing real-time energy prices, including those offered by Octopus Flux and Agile tariffs, Hub:One can automatically adjust your home's energy consumption and generation patterns. This means more efficient use of energy when prices are low and optimising energy generation (such as from solar panels) or storage (using battery systems) to use or sell back to the grid when prices are higher.

Our ongoing work includes deep integration with these dynamic tariffs to ensure that Hub:One users can fully leverage the fluctuating energy prices to their advantage. This integration aims to automate the decision-making process around energy use, storage, and generation, thus providing a seamless, efficient, and cost-effective energy management solution at home.
